Medical Assistant – St. Paul / Maplewood area Full Time


Requires MA Diploma or equivalent. $15.00/hr. and up commensurate with experience.

Full time opportunity near 35E and Roselawn Ave. in St. Paul  - Bordering Maplewood

Typical schedule is Mon-Fri. 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., but may range between 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.   Flexible schedule options may be available following 6 months of employment. Competitive Pay and Benefits including Signing Bonus

In this challenging and fast paced position, you will work directly with our providers in our colorectal clinics. 

Primary Duties:
 
• Exam room set up, and rooming of patients
• Assist physicians with pre/post op appointments and procedures
• Answer busy clinic phones, schedule office appointments, make patient reminder calls
• Support patient charting utilizing NextGen EMR
• Must be willing to travel to clinic/satellite location as needed 
 
Requirements include: 
 
• Diploma or equivalent as a Medical Assistant (Certification preferred).
• 1 year recent Medical Assistant experience in a medical clinic setting (preferred). 
• Superior communication skills, detailed oriented, excellent direct patient care skills as well as the ability to remain professional, upbeat and positive in a busy clinic environment. 
• Clear understanding of HIPAA standards and patient confidentiality.
• Excellent driving record, current valid driver's license and ability to travel between clinics in a reliable and efficient manner.
• Experience with NextGen EMR a plus.
• Ability to be flexible with scheduled work hours in order to meet clinic needs
