- Dr. Ann Lowry, President/CEO
Our Healthy Workplace Committee was founded in 1996 under the direction of Dr. Ann Lowry. The committee is composed of employee representatives from every department and location within the organization.
One of the primary functions of the Healthy Workplace Committee is to coordinate employee education sessions. These informational sessions range from health care related topics - pelvic floor testing, diverticulitis, Crohn's disease - to personal/professional growth areas such as - financial planning, customer service, work/life balance.
The Healthy Workplace Committee encourages employees to participate in a "CRSAL Development Day". This program was designed in order for employees to observe and learn outside of their typical work arena. For example, through this program, business office employees have been able to observe our physicians/medical staff at work, and clinic employees have had the opportunity to see the functions of the business office.
Once a year CRSAL hosts an "All Staff" meeting. This meeting is attended by all employees and physicians in order to review the changes and successes within our practice over the previous year. We also use this meeting as a time to celebrate our many individual and group accomplishments.
"The Back Door Press" is our company newsletter. Our newsletter contains department/site updates, celebrates important events, and gives our employees an opportunity to share news/pictures of .....new babies, graduating seniors, or recent vacations!
In 2008, our "Go Green Team!" was organized. This group of environmentally conscious employees sends out bi-weekly tips on how we can all be kinder to our planet.
Our Social Activities Committee is also composed of employee representatives. This committee plans and organizes a company-funded social gathering each year. This social event is extremely popular with employees and physicians as an opportunity for a bit of fun outside of the workplace!
"Success is long-term lasting relationships with satisfied patients. Achieving that requires a belief in the importance of each patient as an individual. It also requires the same belief about individual members of our organization. We cannot have long-term relationships with patients if we do not have lasting relationships among ourselves. Among other things, we must listen to each other, be understanding of differences, be helpful in busy or stressful times and have fun together." ~ Dr. Ann Lowry, President/CEO
