Currently seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our Coon Rapids Clinic! Our part-time Medical Assistant will have many duties including serving as the Front Desk Medical Receptionist on a rotating basis by answering busy clinic phones, greeting patients, taking co-pays, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies and many other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Our Medical Assistants are experts at direct patient care including rooming, assisting physicians with procedures and pre op/post op exams, sterile environment, patient education, and supporting patient charting utilizing EMR.
Requirements: MUST have certification/diploma as a Medical Assistant, prefer a minimum of 1 year recent Medical Assistant experience in a clinic environment, medical front office experience. Must have clear understanding of HIPAA standards and patient confidentiality. We require superior communication and computer skills (Misys/Tiger a plus!)
Must have valid driver's license and excellent driving record to travel to other sites/satellite locations as needed. PART-TIME (24-29 HOURS PER WEEK)
CASUAL - MEDICAL ASSISTANT/FLOAT
We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to fill our newly created Casual Medical Assistant/Float position.
The Casual Medical Assistant/Float will work as needed from 0-40 hours per week and must be willing to work as assigned at any of our clinic/satellite locations. These locations include:
St. Paul, Minneapolis, Edina, and Coon Rapids.
May be asked to work on short notice.
Duties: Room set up, rooming patients, assisting physicians with procedures and supporting patient charting utilizing EMR. Must have(or be willing to learn) Medical Receptionist duties such as answering busy clinic phones, greeting patients, and scheduling appointments.
Requirements include: MUST have certification/diploma as a Medical Assistant with a minimum of 1 year recent Medical Assistant experience in a clinic setting. Must have superior communication skills, excellent direct patient care skills as well as the ability to remain professional, upbeat and positive in a busy clinic environment.
MUST have excellent driving record and current valid drivers license.
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT/NURSE PRACTITIONER

Position Overview:
Our new Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will work with the colorectal surgeon and/or referring physician to augment the physician’s ability to provide clinic and hospital based medical/colorectal care by assisting in surgery and providing pre/post-operative care.
*Requirements:
• 1 year PA/NP clinical experience (may be willing to train a dynamic new grad)
• Surgical experience preferred
• PA - Current graduate of an approved Physician Assistant program. National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) as well as the Physician Assistant national certifying examination (PANCE). Current registration as a licensed PA-C with the state of Minnesota.
NP – Must have MS in Science in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner with current Minnesota license (or ability to obtain MN licensure).

Exciting opportunity for a part-time Endoscopy Technician with the outpatient surgery center!
Duties include:
Disinfection/sterilization and maintenance of endoscopy equipment, efficient procedure room turn around including stocking supplies and maintaining an organized work area. May be asked to cross train on front desk - by answering busy phones- greeting patients.
Troubleshoot equipment and assist physicians/nursing staff as needed.
Requirements:
Excellent communication (verbal/written) and computer skills.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Must be able to maintain stable performance levels under conditions of pressure and multiple demands.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Prefer previous experience in a medical office or outpatient surgery center.
Surgical Tech/Sterile Processing Tech experience preferred.
Endo experience a plus!
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to walk and move quickly.
Must be able to reach, bend, twist, and squat.
Must be able to assist to transfer up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to tolerate protective equipment including; gowns, gloves, facial masks, and eye protection.
