“My family owned and operated a family clinic in Chicago, Illinois. I started working there at about age 5! It was there that I got my first exposure to medicine and surgery with my father. I remember going on house calls, and making rounds with my father at a very young age. I first “scrubbed” in the operating room with my father at age 15.
It was through these early experiences that I have described learning to be a physician and surgeon as an “apprentice”. I strive to carry on the old medical values of caring and compassion, blended with the latest in technological advancements.”
