Physician Assistants (PA) are highly trained health care professionals who practice medicine as members of a team with a supervising colon and rectal surgeon. Physician Assistants deliver a wide range of medical and surgical services. As part of our comprehensive approach to patient care, our Physician Assistants conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care, assist in surgery and prescribe medications.
Physician Assistants are state-licensed and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
