Visitor Information

 

The Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Minnesota, as well as the partners of Colon and Rectal Surgery Associates, Ltd. welcome visitors. Visitors may choose to observe clinical activity and/or to participate in clinical laboratory research.

To ensure that your visit meets your expectations, we ask that you follow the procedures stated below:

Submit a letter of intent along with a current copy of your curriculum vitae and copy of your medical diploma, to the following:

Your letter of intent should include the following information:

  • When you would like to visit
  • How long you plan to stay
  • Any particular clinical activity you wish to observe (type of surgery, Center for Pelvic Floor Disorders, private office, endoscopy)
  • Area of research interest (if any) – clinical or laboratory
  • If you have spoken to one of the physicians at Colon and Rectal Surgery Associates, Ltd. about your visit

Once your letter and credentials have been received, it will be reviewed at the monthly Division meeting. The purpose of the review is to be sure we can offer the experience you are requesting and to avoid having too many visitors at one time.
